Cycle Shelters - Astirvant beats the competition again!

A progressive Welsh council invest money every year to help their population stay fit, by providing cycle shelters and bike stands in public places and at public sector employers.

Being a council, money is always tight and every year the new Bike Shelter requirements are put out to tender to get the best value for money for the tax payer.

For the third year out of the last four Astirvant has proven to be the most competitive supplier of Bike Storage Facilities.

This year we provided the following Cycle Storage Solutions:

Supplied & installed 1 x 4 Metre Curved Roof Cycle Shelter to a University Sports Centre

Dismantled, moved and re-assembled an existing cycle shelter to a more convenient spot.

Supplied & installed 1 x 5 Metre Curved Roof Cycle Shelter to a National Library

Supplied & installed 1 x 3 Metre Curved Roof Cycle Shelter to a Police Station

This all had to be done in a time limit and involved other contractors, including ground works engineers and Electric Bike 'E' charging Stations that were accommodated within our shelters.

Corporate colours were used on all the cycle shelters, again showing our flexibilty.

We also supplied only, the following Sheffield Cycle Stands to the council's 'stock' for their Works department to install throughout the year on an ad hoc basis:

20 x Stainless Steel Sheffield Cycle Hoops with base plate fixing

15 x Stainless Steel Sheffield Cycle Hoops with 'below ground' fixing
