The Complete Package - Local customer shows how to maximise the most of the available floor space.

It started with just one workbench and a request to see our Workplace Equipment Catalogue.

They were impressed with our range of products and asked us to put a package quote together.

With generous discounts and quick delivery, we helped them set up shop before the first workload was due.

The initial order:

3 x       Heavy Duty Workbench 1800 x 650 x 840h (mm)

1 x       Fully Powered Pallet Straddle Stacker (electric lift and travel) Capacity 1000kg, Lift height 1600mm.

1 x       Heavy Duty Pick Wall (Large Stacking Containers with Open Fronts)

1 x       Double sided louvre panel trolley c/w 160 red open fronted containers/bins.

1 x       Bay of widespan racking c/w 3 shelf levels.

1 x       2 shelf trolley 1050 x 605 x 880h (mm),

1 x       Mobile Strapping Kit, ref WPKIT3               

It quickly became clear that different work zones were needed and we were asked to quote for 2 internal rooms to seggregate from the Stores & Despatch areas.

Our Contracts Department recommended Double Skin Steel Partitioning with suspended ceilings to create two quiet, dedicated rooms.

One for noisy tests and repairs with the Heavy Duty Workbenches and container panel trolleys that we had already supplied.

The other for the design team, their computers and electrical test equipment. We supplied in this room ESD protected Workbenches (Static Dissipative), ESD Chrome Wire Shelving, ESD Office Desks and ESD Office Chairs.

Once the workload ramped up, some of the incoming items were quite large and suitable storage was needed. Budgets were getting incraesingly tight, so we helped by installing some USED Pallet Racking for this puspose.

The business has been a success and even in this modestly sized unit we have helped them fit in even more staorage, by suppliying bays of Heavy Duty Longspan Shelving and some individual bays of medium duty shelving.
